[separator headline=”h2″ title=”CD/DVD – Unfinalised Media”]
In a case where a CD or DVD has been ejected prior to finalisation, reading such a disc will usually result in a formatting error when accessed. Usually the underlying data is still intact, although the data structures required to address the data are not present due to incomplete disk finalisation.
Our fault-tolerant reading systems can enable us to read the data from the disc at a low level. This data can then be scanned for common file types, usually resulting in a successful data recovery.
